Recognition and Respect of Place of First Americans
The name, First American Capital Corporation, Inc., (FACC), acknowledges and respects the indigenous peoples of this place – those whose creation stories are in this proximity, those forced to relocate to this place, and those tribal members with numerous affiliations who have come to call what is now Wisconsin home.
Today, we recognize The People of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, the Ho-Chunk Nation, Forest County Potawatomi, Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Mole Lake Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, St. Croix Chippewa Tribe of Wisconsin, the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, the Stockbridge-Munsee Community Band of Mohican Indians and the Brothertown Indian Nation.
The name, First American Capital Corporation, Inc., also reflects our mission to provide access to affordable capital – in the form of business loans – for First Americans’ businesses and tribal enterprises, as well as others underserved in our eligible markets.
First American Capital Corporation, Inc. — We honor your business.
